Indoor Putting Technology in Delray Beach, FL

Putting accounts for a significant portion of the strokes you take during a round. Even PGA Tour players average about 29 putts per round. Compared with an overall scoring average of about 71 strokes, that means roughly 41% of their strokes are putts.¹

Strong drives, approach shots, and chipping can help reduce the number and difficulty of putts you face, but improving on the green still requires solid putting fundamentals.

At Tee Box, we use PuttView in Delray Beach, FL as part of our golf development system. Players can practice indoors on a consistent surface, see immediate feedback, and understand elements like speed, break, slope, start line, and distance.

What is PuttView?

How it Works

PuttView is an interactive putting training system that helps golfers better understand how to read, aim, and execute different putts. After each hit, players can review their performance and use that feedback to make adjustments.

The system combines several technologies and training tools to create that experience:

High-Precision Green Mapping

PuttView maps the contours, slopes, elevation changes, and other characteristics of an indoor putting green to create an accurate digital model and understand how the surface will affect each putt.

Once mapped, PuttView adapts its projected lines and visual aids to the specific surface. By changing the starting position and target, golfers can practice a variety of straight, breaking, uphill, and downhill putts on the same green.

Projection Technology

Overhead projectors display training information directly onto the putting surface. Instead of trying to visualize how a putt should travel, golfers can see information directly in front of them, including:

Ideal Putting Line: The calculated path the ball should follow toward the target based on the selected putt and green conditions.
Break Direction: How the slope of the green will move the ball left or right as it rolls.
Target Points: Specific points to putt toward, helping golfers practice direction and distance with a clear objective.

Aim Lines: Visual references for alignment that help golfers move the ball in their intended direction.
Practice Drills: Exercises projected directly onto the green to help players work on specific putting skills and repeat them consistently.
Interactive Games: Challenges and games that let golfers practice different skills, work toward targets, and compete with other players.

Ball Tracking & Performance Analysis

After each putt, PuttView's tracking technology follows the ball across the green and records the result. Golfers and coaches can compare the intended putt with the ball's actual path and evaluate:

Start Line: Whether the ball started in the intended direction.
Speed: How fast the ball traveled and how speed influenced the result.

Accuracy: How closely the putt matched the intended target or line.
Distance Control: Whether the golfer used the right amount of speed to reach the intended distance.

Instruction and Coaching

Tee Box Pros use PuttView’s projected visuals and performance feedback to teach skills like green reading, aim, speed control, start line, and other putting fundamentals.

Instead of relying on verbal instruction alone, coaches can show players what they are seeing directly on the green. Players can then make adjustments, test them on their next putt, and see how those changes affect the result.

Purposeful Putting Practice

With PuttView practice at Tee Box, sessions can be customized around each player’s goals and areas for improvement.

Here are a few putting scenarios and skills that can be incorporated into training:

Uphill and downhill putts
Left-to-right and right-to-left breaks
Short and lag putts

Aim and alignment
Speed and distance control
Pressure situations

Performance Tracking

PuttView records performance across multiple practice sessions. This means golfers and their Tee Box Pro can monitor and compare metrics such as accuracy, speed consistency, drill performance, and overall progression.

Instead of relying on feel alone, players can use their results to understand how they perform, where they need to improve, and what to focus on next.

From the moment I walked in and was warmly greeted by the owner, Tom, I knew Tee Box Delray was something special. The hospitality felt genuine and personal right away, setting the tone for an outstanding experience. The facility itself is heads and shoulders above every other golf simulator venue I’ve tried, and I’ve played at quite a few. It’s clean, spacious, modern, and clearly built with serious golfers in mind. The simulators and analytics are absolutely mind-blowing. The technology is so advanced and accurate that it has already elevated my game and gave me insights I’ve never gotten anywhere else. Every session feels like a high-level training session combined with pure fun. A huge shoutout to the full-time pro, Mike, who is exceptional. His knowledge, coaching style, and attention to detail are top-tier. Having a dedicated pro like Mike on site makes Tee Box Delray the complete package. Tee Box Delray has completely changed the way I practice golf. I've been a member for about a couple of weeks now, and I can honestly say this is one of the best investments I've made in my game. Before joining, I spent a lot of time at traditional driving ranges, but the combination of TrackMan technology, PuttView, the golf-specific gym, and structured training has made my practice sessions far more productive. What really sets Tee Box apart is that it's not just another simulator facility. It's a complete golf improvement center. Whether I have 30 minutes or two hours, I always know exactly what I'm working on, and the instant feedback makes every swing count. The Owner and Pro have both been outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping members improve. The facility is always clean, the equipment is first-class, and it's easy to fit practice into a busy schedule because of the flexible hours. Since joining, my ball striking has become noticeably more consistent, and I'm seeing that improvement carry over to the golf course. As someone who's serious about lowering my handicap, I can't imagine going back to practicing any other way. If you're in South Florida and truly want to improve—not just hit balls—I'd recommend Tee Box without hesitation. It's one of those rare memberships that actually delivers on what it promises.

Tee Box is fantastic! It’s classy and comfortable and very high-tech. Incredible place to practice, and the putter fitting set up is unbelievable. You can’t find this at a Pga Superstore or Edwin Watts! If you want to TRULY get fitted for a putter the correct way, this is state of the art, and the only place to get it done. Tom, The owner, is incredibly nice, passionate, and knowledgeable. The pro who works there will get you hooked up the right way. We have needed a place like this and I’m so thrilled that it’s available and open now! The trackman has settings on there that I’ve NEVER seen on other trackman units. It’s top-notch and beyond anything I’ve witnessed. They have four bays, the great putter fitting section, and a gorgeous weight room. You can really take care of everything you need here to get yourself in the best golf shape you can be in!!!! I’m blown away by how beautiful and comfortable this place is. This will be like a second home for many of you! A place where you can really work on fine-tuning your game. My wife and I are absolutely blown away, and we both give it a 5- star rating.

Tee box is the beat training you can get outside Titleist TPI in California. But TPI will only train tour peofessionals on their campus. The instruction is TPI level 3 golf: the highest level outside of TPI in California. That being said this location is NOT YET OPEN!! They are still installing the equipment. Ive stopped in multiple times and it looks like it should be done early July. Its membership based so I am hoping to get my membership set up before sign-up is closed. They only allow a certain number of members so it doesn't get overcrowded so I put my name on the reserve list. I think for thisnlocation its 200 or less members. It'll cost less than 2 lessons a month and you get unlimited training, a.complete gym and customized plans included. Trackman, sportsbox, puttview. Premium functional weight room and fitness area. Its a no brainer. Best. Training. Ever.
