How it Works

PuttView is an interactive putting training system that helps golfers better understand how to read, aim, and execute different putts. After each hit, players can review their performance and use that feedback to make adjustments.

The system combines several technologies and training tools to create that experience:

High-Precision Green Mapping

PuttView maps the contours, slopes, elevation changes, and other characteristics of an indoor putting green to create an accurate digital model and understand how the surface will affect each putt.

Once mapped, PuttView adapts its projected lines and visual aids to the specific surface. By changing the starting position and target, golfers can practice a variety of straight, breaking, uphill, and downhill putts on the same green.

Projection Technology

Overhead projectors display training information directly onto the putting surface. Instead of trying to visualize how a putt should travel, golfers can see information directly in front of them, including:

Ideal Putting Line: The calculated path the ball should follow toward the target based on the selected putt and green conditions.
Break Direction: How the slope of the green will move the ball left or right as it rolls.
Target Points: Specific points to putt toward, helping golfers practice direction and distance with a clear objective.

Aim Lines: Visual references for alignment that help golfers move the ball in their intended direction.
Practice Drills: Exercises projected directly onto the green to help players work on specific putting skills and repeat them consistently.
Interactive Games: Challenges and games that let golfers practice different skills, work toward targets, and compete with other players.

Ball Tracking & Performance Analysis

After each putt, PuttView's tracking technology follows the ball across the green and records the result. Golfers and coaches can compare the intended putt with the ball's actual path and evaluate:

Start Line: Whether the ball started in the intended direction.
Speed: How fast the ball traveled and how speed influenced the result.

Accuracy: How closely the putt matched the intended target or line.
Distance Control: Whether the golfer used the right amount of speed to reach the intended distance.

First time visiting Tee Box Screen Golf and the experience was amazing. This is a new facility that offers screen golf that is sectioned off to 3 different bays, putting green area with laser lights features, and a gym that has all the main equipments for a full body workout session. Chris helped me out today for a consultation, guided me through what tee box was all about, and coached me on my swing and posture. I first heard about this place through yelp’s Big Hobby Energy Event, and I am glad that I came. The experience is worth every bit of your time. I really would love to be a member here one day. After today’s experience, I am fully convinced that it will be worth every dollar spent for membership. Unfortunately, my reality right now I am not able to tack on additional monthly expense, but as soon as my situation improves, I will be signing up. Coming in here for a golf evaluation with Chris free of charge was like an invitation for me to test drive the Lamborghini truck at a dealership. On the regular, I won’t even know where to go to test drive one, but the opportunity presented today was as valuable. Yes I recommend this place to others.
