Titleist Performance Institute in Fort Lauderdale, FL

No two golfers move exactly the same, so they shouldn't be coached the same way. The Titleist Performance Institute in Fort Lauderdale, FL, or TPI,¹ helps coaches understand how a golfer’s movement and physical abilities can affect the swing.

Every Tee Box coach is TPI certified. We use that training to look at both movement and swing mechanics, giving each golfer instruction based on what their body can do.

What is the Titleist Performance Institute?

An Education and Certification Organization

TPI is an education and certification organization focused on the connection between the body and the golf swing.² Rather than teaching one way to swing, TPI trains golf instructors, fitness professionals, physical therapists, and medical providers to understand how a golfer’s movement can impact performance.

TPI looks at physical abilities that influence your swing, including:

Stability

How well you control your movements

Strength

Your ability to produce and control force

Flexibility

The range of motion available to your body

Balance

Your ability to stay controlled throughout the swing

Mobility

How well your body moves through different positions

Looking at these areas helps coaches see when a physical limitation may be affecting the swing and build a realistic improvement plan.

All Box Pros Are TPI Certified

Every Tee Box Box Pro is TPI certified.³ This gives our coaches a shared approach to player development and helps maintain consistent coaching standards across Tee Box locations.

TPI certification also includes continued education, helping our coaches stay current with modern golf performance methods.

What TPI-Certified Professionals Do

TPI training helps our coaches:

Assess how you move to find areas that may be limiting your swing.
Recommend exercises that support better strength, flexibility, balance, or rotation.
Connect your movement to your swing to see what may be causing certain patterns.
Build a golf-specific fitness plan around what your body needs and where you want to improve.

Every new Tee Box member receives a TPI-based movement screening as part of their Golf Performance Assessment.

Fort Lauderdale TPI Movement Screening

During your Fort Lauderdale TPI movement screening at Tee Box, a certified Box Pro will guide you through a series of simple movements. They then record the results to build a better picture of your movement and physical capabilities.

Those results become part of your Tee Box player profile. Your coach can use that information alongside your swing data to shape your development plan and decide where to focus your training.

If you are looking to improve your game, this is the absolute best place to get it done. They have built a world-class game-improvement facility that covers every aspect of performance. On the fitness side, they feature an in-house gym complete with an expert personal trainer. For your golf game, they cover your entire bag—from putting to the full swing. Every single hitting bay is equipped with TrackMan technology, providing invaluable data to refine your technique. Their putting green is equally impressive, outfitted with top-of-the-line technology. I have been playing golf for over 40 years and teaching the game for 20. The TrackMan simulators, combined with expert coaching, provide the perfect tools to improve your swing with immediate feedback. A special thank you to Chris(the golf coach), who helped tremendously with a few small tweaks to my swing in just one visit. His instructions were clear, easy to understand, and immediately made a difference in my slice. The owner is also incredibly nice and welcoming, which makes every visit enjoyable. It’s clear that they genuinely care about creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door. I’m also happy to support a local business while improving my golf game. My husband and I recently visited Tee Box Golf in Oakland Park for a tour and complimentary assessment because we were seriously considering joining. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The facility is outstanding. They have a fully equipped gym, state-of-the-art technology for swing analysis and performance testing, and a comprehensive approach that goes far beyond simply hitting golf balls. Every aspect of their program is designed to help golfers improve through personalized coaching, fitness, and data-driven insights. Coach Chris was exceptional. He took the time to walk us through every part of the facility, carefully explaining the value behind each piece of technology and how they create individualized training plans based on each golfer’s swing, movement patterns, and goals. Their use of visual feedback, personalized programming, and AI-driven insights was incredibly impressive and unlike anything we’ve seen before. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping people become better golfers. If you’re serious about improving your game—or you’re looking for the perfect place for the golfer in your life—I wholeheartedly recommend Tee Box Golf. It’s an impressive facility with elite coaching and a personalized approach that’s well worth checking out.

First time visiting Tee Box Screen Golf and the experience was amazing. This is a new facility that offers screen golf that is sectioned off to 3 different bays, putting green area with laser lights features, and a gym that has all the main equipments for a full body workout session. Chris helped me out today for a consultation, guided me through what tee box was all about, and coached me on my swing and posture. I first heard about this place through yelp’s Big Hobby Energy Event, and I am glad that I came. The experience is worth every bit of your time. I really would love to be a member here one day. After today’s experience, I am fully convinced that it will be worth every dollar spent for membership. Unfortunately, my reality right now I am not able to tack on additional monthly expense, but as soon as my situation improves, I will be signing up. Coming in here for a golf evaluation with Chris free of charge was like an invitation for me to test drive the Lamborghini truck at a dealership. On the regular, I won’t even know where to go to test drive one, but the opportunity presented today was as valuable. Yes I recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely be back here in the future, when my financial situation improves. 🙂

Had my first assessment today 7am and Chris (Golf Pro) was great! Easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable/helpful in the breakdown of my golf swing and making minor tweaks. Facility was also great, full size gym and (4) trackman bays. No sauna or cold plunge here, but possibly to come!
