What is TrackMan?

Launch Monitor Technology

TrackMan measures key metrics on every shot, including ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry distance, club speed, club path, and more. This data helps explain how the club moves through impact, how the ball responds, and why a shot travels the way it does.

Golf Simulator Technology

With TrackMan, you can play virtual rounds on hundreds of real-world courses. Your shot is recreated on the simulator screen in front of you, allowing you to see how it would play out in the virtual environment. TrackMan can also be used for more than a traditional round of golf. Coaching System

Golf coaches can use TrackMan measurements to understand what is happening in your swing and how it affects your shots. Using the data, it’s easier to build a more targeted plan around how you play now, where you want to be, and what to work on next.

How It Works

TrackMan 4 uses dual-radar technology and an optical camera to capture what happens before, during, and after impact.

Here’s how they work:

Dual Radar Technology: Doppler radar sends electromagnetic waves toward moving objects and measures how the reflected signals change as those objects move. TrackMan 4 uses two forms of radar:

Short-Range Radar: One radar focuses on the club and impact area, tracking club movement and gathering measurements around impact.
Long-Range Radar: The second radar focuses on the golf ball, measuring it immediately after impact and continuing to track its movement throughout flight.

Optical Camera System: The high-speed optical camera captures images of the club and ball around impact. Combined with the radar, these images help TrackMan determine club position and where contact occurs.

Lessons and Coaching

First time visiting Tee Box Screen Golf and the experience was amazing. This is a new facility that offers screen golf that is sectioned off to 3 different bays, putting green area with laser lights features, and a gym that has all the main equipments for a full body workout session. Chris helped me out today for a consultation, guided me through what tee box was all about, and coached me on my swing and posture. I first heard about this place through yelp’s Big Hobby Energy Event, and I am glad that I came. The experience is worth every bit of your time. I really would love to be a member here one day. After today’s experience, I am fully convinced that it will be worth every dollar spent for membership. Unfortunately, my reality right now I am not able to tack on additional monthly expense, but as soon as my situation improves, I will be signing up. Coming in here for a golf evaluation with Chris free of charge was like an invitation for me to test drive the Lamborghini truck at a dealership.
