Kaysville Golf Equipment

Clubs are not one-size-fits-all. Every golfer has a unique playing style, and it is difficult for players to hit consistent, accurate shots if they do not have the right equipment.

A golf club fitting in Kaysville, UT, from Tee Box helps take the guesswork out of choosing clubs. We use performance data, launch monitor technology, and swing analysis to evaluate how your current clubs perform and identify the specifications that best complement you.

The Tee Box

Club Fitting Process

Step 1: Consultation

Every club fitting begins with a conversation. Before hitting any golf balls, your fitter will take time to learn about you. Topics may include:

  • Playing goals
  • Your current clubs
  • Strengths and frustrations
  • Golf experience and skill level
  • Any equipment preferences or previous fitting experiences

This conversation provides valuable context and helps guide the rest of the fitting process.

Step 2: Performance Baseline

Next, you'll hit shots with your current clubs to establish a performance baseline using our TrackMan launch monitor technology. This gives your fitter a clear understanding of how your existing equipment performs before testing any alternatives.

Key measurements they’ll track include:

  • Spin rate
  • Ball speed
  • Club speed
  • Peak height
  • Launch angle
  • Total distance
  • Landing angle
  • Carry distance
  • Shot dispersion

Step 3: Comparing Equipment Options

Using the information gathered from both your consultation and baseline data, your fitter will have you test different combinations of clubheads, shafts, loft and lie angles, shaft flexes, and club lengths.

Each combination is evaluated using launch monitor data alongside your personal feedback. While performance is the primary focus, your comfort and confidence with each club are also important. Our fitters work to find the combination that performs best and feels right for your swing.

Step 4: Personalized Recommendations

Once testing is complete, your fitter will review the results with you and explain:

  • Which equipment performed best and why
  • Which upgrades, if any, are most likely to benefit your game
  • Which equipment we have in stock that fits your needs, if you are ready to purchase.

At Tee Box, we do not make recommendations based on brand, popularity, or price—every suggestion is based on your results and feedback. There is no obligation to purchase after your fitting.

  • UPDATE 10/28/25: Nearly all of my previous complaints were addressed by the owner and manager of the Kaysville Tee Box. I have increased it from 3 stars to 4 stars as a result of this. Truthfully, i'm not sure it is worth the price, as I don't use it as much as I used too. But that is on me, not the Tee Box. The fitness app has been improved and is back online, and the frames around the screen have been replaced, reducing the likelihood of ricochets and balls rebounding. See my original review below. I’ve been a member for about 9 months. I have loved it, but it is trending in the wrong direction for me. The equipment that was once new has gotten older, several of the pads around the hitting screens have worn out - sending balls occasionally careening off of the metal frames. It is rare, but does happen. My biggest gripe is that benefits are trending negatively. The fitness app (so called personalized plan) has become useless for me because they keep removing workouts. The first few months, my membership included youth camps for my kids but those are no longer free. There are a lot of positives too, the course selection on the trackman software is excellent, the gym is rarely used, and it is easy to reserve hitting bays, it rarely feels crowded, especially in the summer. It does get busier in winter though. I love being able to bring guests, that is a huge draw. I’ve really enjoyed it, but unless they fix the fitness app, I’m unlikely to renew my membership.

  • 24/7 Access is awesome, Kyler was great during the lesson, and everything was really solid. Great experience!

  • Tee Box has been a total game-changer for my golf game. I’ve been to other simulator bays before, but Tee Box takes things to a whole new level with their membership benefits. At this location, Kyler is the Tee Box Pro—a coach whose expertise elevates the entire experience by offering personalized advice and always being ready to answer any questions. As part of my membership, I receive one lesson a month, and Kyler has guided me every step of the way. I only started playing golf in 2023, and before joining Tee Box, my game was little more than hanging out with friends and struggling with inconsistent shots. From our very first lesson together, Kyler met me exactly where I was, breaking down the basics and offering multiple options so that the new techniques truly became part of my swing. I left our first session with practical drills to work on, and for the first time, my time in the bays felt genuinely productive and rewarding. Fast forward a few months—those initial adjustments, however, ended up throwing off my driver completely. I was frustrated, unable to hit a drive to save my life. When I told Kyler, he simply said, “I got you. Next lesson, we’ll work on it.” And he delivered. In our next session, his innovative techniques transformed my driver shot, and now I’m hitting drives better than ever. Kyler is nothing short of a magician when it comes to coaching, and every minute spent with him is an investment in your game. Beyond this location, Tee Box consistently provides the tools and support to help you improve—I've seen it at the Kaysville and Centerville locations, but I feel confident you’ll find a team that genuinely cares about your progress at any location. Tee Box has not only jump-started my golf game but also inspired a healthier lifestyle. I weighed 410 lbs back in November, and thanks to the motivation I’ve found here, I’m now down by over 50 lbs. Tee Box has transformed golf from a casual hobby into a powerful component of my overall well-being. Plus, with your membership, you get access to the TBX - Golf Performance app, packed with golf-focused workouts for every skill level—even tailored for someone like me who hadn’t done any structured exercise in over 10 years. If you love golf at all, I can’t recommend Tee Box enough—especially this location, where Kyler’s fantastic coaching makes all the difference.

  • Kyler has given me a few lessons and has locked in my 7 iron! Also a great place to get a lift in and work on your golf game!
    — Holden Schenck | google | 03.08.2025
  • Tee Box is a great golf simulator spot that’s helped my game a lot. If you, your friends, and/or family are into golf, it’s a blast especially in the winter when real courses aren’t an option. The trackman software is good and has a many courses all over the world which is fun to try. The facility offers four bays (three upstairs, one downstairs) plus a gym. It’s members-only, so you or someone you know need a membership to get in. The lessons provided by Kyler are great and if you come during normal business hours you will most likely see him. He is an awesome guy and super helpful if you run into any issues. This facility is also 24/7 when you sign up so if you want to play a virtual course at 3am no one is stopping you. That said, I won’t be continuing my membership as of now for a few reasons. The hitting strips are heavily worn with a big divot (except the new 4th bay), and though I’ve mentioned it, they have not swapped them out. Not as big of a deal but the Bay 1 projector is misaligned and the screen sags which makes the picture not look as clean as the others. Usually I avoid bay 1 unless if I bring a few guests. The membership is pricey in my opinion running at $200/month with a year commitment (includes all the perks like lessons, nutrition person and other things I'm probably forgetting) or $260 month-to-month (only includes gym and simulator access, with no extras) As of now I can't commit to a year with being in the military and don't want to pay the price hike for the month to month. Still, I’m giving it 4 stars because their $30-for-30-days trial is unbeatable. It gives you a great piece of what their membership entails. I’m hopeful they’ll address some of these concerns one day. If you’re on the fence, try the trial and form your own opinion if you would like to continue your membership or not. Be careful with the trial if you decide to cancel it you need to let them know 5 days before it ends or it enrolls you in the annual contract plan.

  • The Kaysville Tee Box is where it's Davis County! The gym and vibe are amazing. The massive putting surface is fantastic and who doesn't love hitting bombs in their bays?! Go meet their box pro Kyler Hall and see what all the hype is about!

  • Recently, the Davis Chamber of Commerce and the Laksider’s were at Tee Box for a ribbon cutting. We experienced first hand the services they have to offer. This facility is top notch and we are excited to support them as a chamber of commerce.

Question markEquipment FAQs

The best golf clubs are the ones that fit your game. Consider your skill level, swing speed, height, and the types of shots you typically hit. It's also important to consider shaft flex, club length, grip size, and club forgiveness.

Taking these factors into account can help you choose equipment that supports your game now and as you continue to improve.

If you're just getting started, a simple set of clubs is all you need. A driver or hybrid, a few mid-irons, a wedge, and a putter will help you learn every part of the game without making club selection feel overwhelming.

As your skills improve, you can add more clubs to your bag based on your game and playing style.

There’s no single “best” brand; there is only the best fit for you. Top brands like Ping, Mizuno, Callaway, and TaylorMade all produce high-quality clubs, but each offers varied features, technologies, and performance benefits that may suit different players.

A quality beginner set typically costs between $500 and $1,200, depending on the brands and clubs you choose. It's a good idea to set a budget before you start shopping and look for clubs that match your current abilities.

At Tee Box, we'll help you find equipment that fits your game without paying for features you may not need yet.

The most forgiving golf clubs for beginners are usually beginner or game-improvement clubs, designed to help golfers hit more consistent shots. Cavity-back irons, hybrids instead of long irons, and high-lofted drivers are all great choices for new players.

If you’re building a basic set or just getting started, the five most important golf clubs to have are:

  1. Driver: For long-distance tee shots
  2. 7-iron: Versatile and great for approach shots
  3. Pitching Wedge: Essential for short game and chipping
  4. Putter: Used on nearly every hole to finish the play
  5. Hybrid or 5-wood: Easier to hit than long irons and great for distance
